apologies for my previous post. spur of the moment kasi. nakakaasar eh. oh well... -------- me and my buddies went on a trip to tagaytay over the past weekend. photos can be seen on my man shadowmeld's multiply site: http://shadowmeld19.multiply.com a lot of cool photos there, thanks to shadowmeld's fondness for photography lately. it was a very very tiring experience. but it was pretty memorable! we also watched Zohan -------- our family ate at fish and co last monday, and i must say, THEY HAVE THE BEST DAMN FISH AND CHIPS IN TOWN!!! you guys gotta try it! -------- well that's about it i think. High School Reunion POSTED AT 11:34 PM
astig!!! after 6 years, nangyari na!!! kahapon nagkaroon ng reunion ang ilan sa aming mga magkakaklase dito sa bahay namin. balikbayan kasi yung isa kong kabarkada and as usual, dito ang tambayan area namin! buti nga nakasama ung iba kong kaklaseng girls (mahirap kasi silang ma-contact). kahit mejo konti lang kami (11 lng kmi--7 boys and 4 girls). masaya naman! bitin nga lang kasi gabi na dumating ung girls kaya hindi na masyadong nagkakuwentuhan. sana next time mahaba-haba ang kwentuhan namin. nakakamiss kasi. syempre, kasama rin dun sa girls ung crush ko dati hehe. syempre nagkaron nanaman ng tuksuhan.; mga "muling ibalik" moments hehe... may pic nga kami e amp! kahit pulang-pula na ung bibig namin dahil sa kakainom ng raspberry vodka... nasa multiply site ko ung pics. check it out hehe sige... yan na muna... bon voyage nga pala sa friend ko! sa sunday na ulit ang balik nya sa america... />i'm out Currently watching: SAKSI |

well nangyari na ang kinatatakutan ng madaming tao (or me at least) DLSU 81, UST 79 what a lucky effin' shot by maui villanueva. and UST still hasn't defeated a top 4 team. with the obvious pattern seemingly likely to continue, the tigers will finish 6-8, out of the final 4 for the first time in 2 years, and face a long road ahead. can you say "rebuild"? jervy cruz, japs cuan, francis allera, chester taylor = sila ang mawawala sa UST next season. losing your top scorer is tough, but your third as well? yikes! (4th year na ngayon ni dylan ababou, pero i believe na babalik pa sya next year). parang adamson last year... they lost bono and cabahug - their 2 best scorers... and look where they are now? it will be a long road regardless of whether or not ust finishes in the final 4 this season (although i believe that this is highly unlikely). also, by finishing 6-8, ust will be like one of those mediocre ust teams of 4, 5 years ago, where they were just playing between 4-6 wins per season and just couldn't beat the top tier teams. napakadaming comparison ang pwedeng gawin sa UST... bukod sa adamson na nawala ang top scorers nila, i am predicting that UST will be the miami heat of the UAAP--from heroes to zeroes: champs to celldwellers. but as the saying goes, "bilog ang bola". madami pang pwedeng mangyari. UST has 2 games remaining (UE, UP), but unlike now, their destiny is no longer in their hands(for me at least) UST has to win their game vs. UE on sunday (asa?). mangyayari: UE 7-6, UST 6-7. if UST loses, it's all over. see you next year. the UP game will be solely for pride pag nangyari ung 7-6 and 6-7 scenario, UST has to HOPE AND PRAY for UE to lose to FEU (pwede!), and take care of business and beat UP on september 6th to force a playoff for the last final 4 slot. hay...... hindi dapat nangyari ito kung hindi dahil dun sa FEU game--the worst collapse of a team that i have watched so far (even worse than the lakers' game 4 collapse, perhaps). GO USTE!!!!!!!! KAYA NYO YAN, ANAK NG... />i'm out |

going down fighting... another "sayang" game POSTED AT 11:15 PM
well, that's it! UST has officially been eliminated from final 4 contention, thanks to another gutwrenching 89-87 win by UE. sayang... 3 of the last 4 games for UST have been like that--winnable but coming up woefully short in the end. it has been that kind of season for UST. too many mistakes by the rookies... too many ill-advised shots... too many tactical errors... and need i mention that this all "officially" started with that loss to FEU??? UST should be able to beat UP on saturday... diba??? pero in fairness, lumaban at humabol talaga ang team sa laro kanina... down 52-74 entering the final quarter, the tigers decided not to roll over and die--they decided to give it all they've got--for their season, for their school, and most importantly, for themselves. kahit ako mismo, hindi ko akalain na mahahabol ng UST ang lamang. muntik pa ngang tumabla... pero once again some mistakes killed the tigers in the end--an ill-advised 3 by tata, two contested jumpers by allera--all the while jervy cruz was free underneath the basket. who knows what would've happened kung pinasa nila kay jervy ang bola... hay.... sayang talaga... pero i guess tama rin yung mga commentator kanina: how many of these heartbreaking losses could these young people take??? well i guess they could only take too much. looking into next season, rebuilding mode na ang USTe... wala na ang core nila--cruz, cuan, allera (and not to mention chester taylor). dylan ababou should still be there next year and will be the #1 scoring option of UST. "badong" canlas is entering his 4th year. the rookies have one season under their belts and have no where to go but up (they have all off-season long to improve on their respective games). speaking of the rookies, maganda ang pinakita nila this season, lalo na nitong nakaraang mga games. chris camus is going to be a heck of a player next year. tata bautista should expand on his game and adjust on being a "2" (since that's what he'll likely be playing next year), jeric fortuna has seen his playing time reduced in the past few games but he also has the makings of a great pointguard. vargas, fenequito will only get better offensively and defensively, and we haven't even seen the full potential of the highly-touted allein maliksi because of an injury. overall, the future looks bright for UST, pero sayang lang talaga ang season na ito for UST. what's also worse, is that since UST won't be making the final 4, jervy will no longer be eligible for the MVP this year, which is a total bummer. arguably the most dominant, most consistent, and dare i say "Best" player in the UAAP today, will NOT make it back to back MVP awards. BUZZKILL. whoever wins it will deserve it obviously (rabeh/jvee), but we all know who the REAL MVP of Season 71 is. oh well.... i guess now that the Final 4 is out the window, we only have one more event to look forward to... GO SALINGGAWI!!! BAWI TAYO SA CHEERDANCE!!! />i'm out |
