Secret Recipe

(this will hopefully be a short post)

Last Tuesday we had a team dinner at Secret Recipe at Edsa Shangri-La.

The dishes were pretty good. A lot of diversity on their menu.

noodles in tom yum kung - very spicy!!!! it seems a lot of ginger was used.

chicken cordon bleu - this is what I ordered. The chicken was huge! But once i made that first slice, the cheese oozed out of the chicken -- and hardened. There goes my cheese!

Their desserts were the highlight of the night! ALL OF THEIR CHEESECAKES WERE VERY DELICIOUS! I would definitely recommend them to you guys.

baked cheese cake. espresso cheese cake. marble cheese cake. oreo cheese cake. chocolate fudge. mango delight. mmmmmmmmmmmm!

David vs. David -- The FINALE!

Hi guys!

Well, another AI season is coming to an end, and arguably the two most talented and popular performers have made it to the finale--the lovable David Archuleta and the bartender-slash-rocker David Cook.

Both of them have had their share of defining moments on the show. Archie's "Imagine" really set the bar for the other contestants. Who would top that, or even come close to that? We thought that Archie was a sure win this season.

Or so we thought.

David Cook suddenly showed everyone that he, too, can deliver an awe-inspiring performance, when he performed the stripped-down, Chris Cornell version of Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean". Finally, someone stepping up to the plate. Someone, letting everybody know that "Hey, I'm here to win it too!"

So the weeks passed, and these two great performers delivered one great performance after another, seemingly wanting to one-up the other.

Finally, we come down to the finale. The most "pimped" contestants made it to the last dance, deservingly so. These two have really shown that they deserve to win amidst all the obstacles and controversies throughout the season.

Who's gonna win? Who's gonna be the next big recording artist???

 

You're guess is as good as mine.

 

One thing is for sure though... The name of this year's "American Idol" will be "David".
