what a year 2007 was for me!

it certainly had its high points and low points.

i got promoted in my first job every, which also meant a salary increase.

i also got to meet a bunch of new people, who i'm happy to have been part of my life. 

and most of all, my love life blossomed for the very first time.  i met a girl which i really fell in love with. i thought that it had a chance, for me and her to be "us", but obviously, the threads of fate chose to go the other way. only time will tell if we'll be able to rekindle the good old times...

it was a really trying time for me, but little by little i'm moving on. i know that everything happens for a reason. maybe she really is not the girl for me... maybe there will really be "the one" who i'll meet in the future... maybe it isn't the time for me and her... maybe in due time, it'll happen again...

but i do not regret anything i said or did, because everything was from the heart. i was honest to myself and my feelings. in some ways, it really helped me a lot in growing as a person. it truly was a learning (yearning??) experience...

so, as the year winds down to its final hours, i just want to wish everyone a blessed, prosperous, and joyful new year. may the year 2008 be a happier, luckier, and more memorable year to all of us!
