Tickle.com Super IQ test results
POSTED AT 12:21 AM

Your IQ score is 113. This means that you are smarter than 81.0% of all other Super IQ test takers.

This number is the result of a scientifically-tested formula based on how many questions you answered correctly on the Tickle Super IQ Test.

But there's more to intelligence than a single number, a single score, or a single label. Tickle uses 8 distinguishable dimensions of intelligence in the Super IQ Test. By analyzing your individual scores on those 8 scales, we are able to look beyond the raw IQ score into how you process information, and which intellectual strengths you're best at.

Your test results indicate that the way you process information makes you an Original Thinker.

You have a highly inventive mind. You have your own individual understanding of how the world works and you see things on a different plane than most. Whether you're coming up with brilliant new ideas, or new ways of looking at things, you're probably tapping into several of your multiple talents. Your naturally abstract thinking makes you highly skilled at drawing interesting connections and you are able to pick up on the visual detail that others routinely miss. You take concepts that exist only in your mind and then imagine how they might manifest themselves in everyday life.

Because you think on this other plane it may be hard for others to recognize your abilities. Traditional intelligence tests — unlike this one — typically assess a person's ability to count, or know the right vocabulary words, but are unable to assess their ability to think on an abstract level, or understand things visually. While your talents matter greatly in real life, they can sometimes be overlooked.

Here's an example of your Original Thinker thinking skills at work in a real-life situation:

You are out on the town with some friends. You have gone from one restaurant to another, when you notice that you recognize two men from the first restaurant. You continue to have a good time with your friends, and when it is time to leave, you notice that those men are nowhere to be seen. Once you get outside however, you see them walking across the street from you — headed in the same direction. Your friends are carrying on, oblivious to them. But you have the presence of mind to guide your friends to a better-lit street where you convince them to hail a cab. Once inside the cab, you explain that you just had a sense about the two men who were seemingly following you. And as you pass them in your cab, you see that they have stopped and turned in the opposite direction. Your attention to that kind of detail may have just spared you and your friends an unpleasant encounter.
cool eh?

LIVRE 2
POSTED AT 01:23 AM

last friday, UST hosted the second LIVRE concert for a cause. last year's concert was full of controversy because of the non-performance of south border despite them being there in the venue. me, shadowmeld, clyde, and gielnle were hoping that this year's concert won't end up like last year's

right after our 7pm class, we went to the UST football field where the concert will be held. the concert was telecast over 97.1 LS FM. as we got there, we donated our books as our ticket, then made our way towards the grandstand. by the time we arrived, there weren't as many people as we thought there would be, that's why we got some pretty neat stands (well, we cannot get seats because it was an SRO...) well anyways, a bunch of local (UST) bands performed, and with all honesty, only two local bands stood out to be one of the better bands that night--PARALUMAN and CALLALILY. the paraluman vocalist was a girl, and boy was she cute! they were a cool band. they sort of reminded me of a kitchie nadl-led mojofly (as she sounded a lot like kitchie). callalily, on the other hand, was good as well. their vocalist did have the singing voice, and he reminded me of rico blanco.

when i thought that the bands were gonna be good, i was wrong. there was one unforgettable (or maybe they were forgettable) band that performed--ISHLAVOO. they were the first local band to perform, so we kinda expected them to do pretty good. well, we were SHOCKED! i mean, they shocked us by the antics that they did. their style was a-la greyhounds and those other "Growling" bands which very few people "dig". aside from the growling, they literally cursed the crowd, not once, but twice! ("tumalon naman kayo, anak ng..." and "taloooonnnnn!!! putaaaa talooonnnn!!!!!!"). they said the latter in "growling" manner. i can guaran-damn-tee you that nobody liked them. well, maybe a few, but they certainly were not one of the most popular people in the concert. those guys were sick!

well anyways, going back to some "real" music, the itchyworms were first to perform, followed by those damn ishlavoo guys and another local band (i believe it was paraluman). then followed... PAROKYA NI EDGAR?!??! what?!?!? a lot of people expected them to do the encore performance of the night, but as we came to know later on, we're kind of glad that they performed early. some other bands that performed were imago, pupil, sandwich, 6cyclemind, brownman revival, pedicab, and sugarfree.

but as i said,  we were kind of glad that PNE performed early, because what hapened towards the end of the performance was downrightr insulting, tasteless, and in my view, classless.

the concert was supposed to run up until 10:30pm, but seeing as there were still a bunch of bands left to perform, the CSC president went up on stage and just told us that we will continue partying till whatever time the concert finishes. 10:30 came, and imago, i believe, was performing. suddenly, the 4 large speakers beside the corners of the stage were shut off!!! damn! this obviously angered the crowd as we chnted "VOLUME! VOLUME!" several times but to no avail. the technical guys just fell on deaf-ears. even during the last performance, the sandwich vocalist was egging us in chanting "volume! volume!" as they, along with 6cyclemind and sugarfree, performed with no volume from the large speakers. only the speakers on the stage had volume. and what's worse was, sandwich, 6cyclemind, and sugarfree performed only ONE SONG!!! i believe that's what angried most of the audience even more. sugarfree didn't disappoint though, because as a sign of defiance (somewhat), they still performed, even as security were called to stop the performance. they sang hari ng sablay with all bands on stage as they played with 6cyclemind and sandwich! the crowd totally went nuts over that one as well, because the 6CM vocalist was singing along with sugarfree's. the sandwich guitarists were jamming with the sugarfree ones, and aya de leon of imago was dancing! oh yeah baby! the voice of the people don't disappoint! screw the security! screw whoever shut down the volume of the speakers!!!

well, at least all the big-name bands performed, unlike last year, wherein south border completely insulted UST and it's students. and look where they are now... KARMA is such a nice word... LOL

wow.. i haven't had a post this long in a long time. so i guess i better end it here...

i wonder what will happen in next year's LIVRE... will something controversial happen??? will those damn ishlavoo guys learn their lesson and not show up??? only time will tell...

GOOD LUCK TO LIVRE 3 - IF IT HAPPENS.....

POSTED AT 02:58 AM

ah.... what a day...

first of all, i would like to congratulate my good friend jeric (flamingzero) who just won first place in the search for the ideal thomasian engineer 2006. i dunno how you did it dude, but big ups to you. sikat ka na! hehehe...

damn... wala pa kong nasisimulan dun sa proposal... i hope that with the help of mr. engineering e may magawa na kami (at matapos na ung proposal)

congrts also to airis pastoral of 4-im who won 2nd place for ms. thomasian engineer. it came down to the 2 rivals - ICS nd ECE. in the end, it was a draw... when will this finally be settled?

i accidentally found a letter in my paper bag during the pageant. it was written on a yellow pad, apparently written by two persons, 1 male and 1 female. of course, curiosity urged me to read the contents of the letter. from the looks of it, the two seem to be arguing over something i don't know. i honestly have no idea how this thing got in my paper bag in the first place, or who those two persons are, but based from the handwritings there, i may have a hunch on who they are. of course, i won't assume, because we all know that if you assume, you'd make an ASS out of yoU and ME. sakin na muna un...

now... the question is what do i do with this letter? shall i throw it away? shall i return it to whom i think owns it? oh well...

choices... when you're left with none, you're actually making one.

>outta here!

the WWE RAW LIVE TOUR
POSTED AT 02:02 AM

before i go on with my post, i would just like to make one thing clear...

THE SHOW F*CKING ROCKED!!! IT WAS SOOO AWESOME!!!

ok... now that i got to say that, yesterday was the WWE RAW LIVE TOUR--the first time the WWE ould hold a live event here in the philippines. and they did not disappoint!

i was with my sister and we were seated at the lwoer box - patron side of the coliseum--diagonally adjacent to the ring and near the entrance ramp.

the roof immediately blew off the araneta as the RAW theme music started and the pyro went off! DAMN! THE PYRO WAS SOOOOOO DAMN LOUD!!!

anyways, former WCW ring announcer <insert name here> made his way to the ring and welcomed all of us to the show. after that, we went down to business... but first, he introduced the special ring announcer for the first match--MARIA!

match 1: eugene vs. tyson tomko

---big reaction for eugene. he was weriong a philippine flag-inspired jacket. tomko made his way to the ring the ususal way. the match was fairly short, though, as eugene won by the stunner.

winner: eugene

match 2: chris masters vs. val venis

---another big reaction for the masterpiece, as he made his way to the ring first, followed by val venis. venis actually gave his towel to  young girl fan, and they shot  photo together. nice back and forth match, with masters winning via the masterlock.

winner: chris masters

match 3: viscer vs. snitsky

---snitsky made his way to the ring first, followed by "the world's largest love machine". damn, viscera was big! an average match ith some funny moments, including viscera with the visagra on snitsky, then he pulled up snitsky's tights for everyone to be able to see snitsky's behind! everyone enjoyed it. viscera won by a samoan drop

winner: viscera

match 4: trish stratus (c) vs. torrie wilson (women's title)

---everyone was into the divas match. imagine seeing two hot WWE divas going at it, and for the women's title! trish won the match via a matrish then the chick kick. no sighting of chloe, though... oh, after the match, trish gave torrie a "spanking" wow!

winner and STILL wwe women's champion, trish stratus

match 5: carlito vs. rob van dam

---i was personally looking forward to seeing this match, being that i'm a HUGE rvd fan. well, carlito made his way to the ring first, to a nice pop (the guy sitting next to me was a carlito fan--with the afro, shirt, and sign). carlito actually acknowledged this guy. then rvd made his way to the ring to one of the biggest pops of the night! nice back and forth match with lots of high-flying moves courtesy of RVD, including a leg-drop to carlito who was hung outside on the barricade! the finish showed carlito grabbing his apple and taking a bite out of it, but rvd kicked him in the jaw and hit the five star frog splash for the win. huge pop for RVD's finisher

winner: rob van dam

after the fifth match, we had a 15-minute break, so i took the opportunity to buy some food (taco bell) at the consession stands.

match 6: shelton benjamin (c) vs. ric flair (intercontinental title)

---this was one of the hottest matches of the night! shelton made his way to the ring first, but had something to say before the match. he took the mic and said that, for the record, "i am not a mama's boy!" (with matching "WHAT?" chants). this started  LOUD mama's boy chant which went on for majority of the match. then, flair made his way to the ring to, IMO, the biggest pop of the night! everybody wanted to see the nature boy! woooos echoed throughout the arena, as he also had something to say. he said that after the match, he's gonna get himself some 5 fine filipino women! wooo!!! he also started the main mama's boy chant, which made the crowd go nuts! the mama's boy chant, as i have said, went on for majority of the match. the finish showed flair locking in the figure 4, but shelton managed to get to the ropes. shelton then snuck behind flair and used the ropes for leverage to get the win!

winner and STILL intercontinental champion, shelton benjamin

after the match, the crowd gave flair a well-deserved standing ovation.

match 6: big show vs. triple h (street fight)

---i actually had no idea that this was going to be a streetfight, but as the ring announcer told us, we went nuts! triple h made his way to the ring to another huge pop, although naitch's pop was IMO the loudest. hhh's was second-loudest. then the big show made his way to the ring, and let me just say, tv does not do justice. you got to see him in person to know how big he really is! it was another nice match, with both men making full use of the weapons under the ring. (no table or sledgehammer though... the two kids beside my sister wanted triple h to use a sledgehammer!) hhh used a cord to choke out the big show, but show held on.

the finish showed hhh going to hit big show with the chair, but big show slapped the chair off hhh's hand! big show then went for the chokeslam but hhh reversed it and hit the pedigree! big show kicked out at 2! trip then introduced the ring steps. he actually ahd difficulty in lifting the steps into the ring. the crowd laughed at that one. trip then landed a knee drop to show's head (which actually did NOT hit big show). he landed another one though, and that time, it connected. hhh set up the steel steps in the ring and tried to pedigree bigshow, but big show countered and hit a muscle buster! both men then slowly got to their feet, then got their weapons (chair for hhh, steps for show). as show attempted to hit hhh, hhh countered with a chair shot to the gut! big show then dropped the steel steps and hit face first. hhh then hit another chair shot, this time to the back of the big show! as show lay motionless, triple h then hit show on the head wth the steel chair, while show was lying on the inner part of the steps! (the one which connects to the ring post) a-la con-chair-to! hhh then pinned show and got the 1-2-3 for the win.

winner: triple h

after the match, big show was slow to come to his feet. at this time, a "let's go big show" chant started, willing the big monster to get to his feet. he eventually stood up by his own power and the crowd applauded him as he went to the back.

main event: special referee - mick foley

edge (with lita) vs. john cena (c) (wwe championship match)

--finally! after the long wait, the main event is finally here. foley made his way to the ring first as the special guest referee for this one. edge then made his way out, with lita, and made out on the entrance ramp. cena then made his way to the arena to a very huge pop! cena was soooo over with the fans here in manila! there were very few "cena sucks" chants, though, but those that chanted that were booed. hehehe

good back and forth match, with lita heavily involved in this one. everytime edge would distract foley, lita would take advantage and choke cena on the second rope. foley eventually saw this on the third time lita choked cena, and he tossed lita out! the fans then chanted "na na na na, hey hey hey, goodbye" tolita, with cena conducting us! anyways, the match continued with some nice offensive moves from cena and edge. towards the end of the match, edge speared foley! lita then made her way out to the ring again and handed edge the title belt. edgehit cena, then another ref came out, but edge only got a two count! edge was so pissed that he speared the second referee! now both referee's are out! cena then snuck up from behind and locked in the STFU to edge, who was tapping out, but there was no ref! lita then entered the ring but cena stalked her. edge took advantage and hit cena. lita held cena by the ropes, but as edge was about to run through cena, cena went out o the ay and edge hit lita instead! lita went sailing off the ring apron and hit the barricade. edge was shocked, giving cena the opportunity to hit the FU. foley was up and counted to 3 and cena is STILL the champ.

winner and STILL wwe champion, john cena

after the match, cena celebrated in the ring as foley held cena' hand up. cena then noticed edge was still in the ring, then he told mick to pull out socko! socko was also in manila! mick then stuck socko up the gullet of edge--and lita! both men celebrated in the ring as the evening cam to a very satisfying end!

...but first, mick got on the microphone and talked about a little girl from mindanao which he helped out. he said "MAHAL KITA"! the crowd cheered! mick then gave the mic to cena. cena then said that although he'd like it to be his ton, it wasn't. he said that "this town belongs to each and every citizen of manila. this town belong to each and every screaming fan who blew the roof off the arena. this town belongs to the wildest, craziest WWE fans on the planet! this town is MANILA!!! peace and good wishes to everybody, i love y'all. goodnight". his music then hit as he made his way out of the ring and shook hands with the crowd.

there. what a long post eh? well, if you've experienced an unforgettable night like this, you're bound to tell everything that happened sa abot ng makakaya mo. although i won;t be able to watch today's matches, i can conclude that the RAW LIVE TOUR was a HUGE success, and i hope that they come back to manila some time in the future!

Biggest pops:

  • flair
  • hhh
  • cena
  • rvd
  • carlito

Biggest Heat

  • shelton (crowd was way into him with all the mama's boy chants)
  • snitsky
  • lita's interference

Overall, the crowd cheered every WWE superstar who came through the curtains. whether they won or lost the match, the manila fans showed their respect for the WWE superstars with some well-deserved standing ovations.

now, let me share you my observations after watching my FIRST WWE LIVE EVENT! (and some miscellaneous happenings)

  • the ring is bigger than it seems on tv
  • everytime a wrestler is slammed, the canvas produces a "firing" noise, kinda like a lout ak-47 gun.
  • big show is SOOO HUGE! you gotta see him in person to appreciate his size!
  • the pyro in the show's intro was SO FRICKING LOUD! scared the hell out of me! good thing i didn't pee in my pants. hehehe
  • the ring tarps (those cloth-things that cover the under-side of the ring) got knocked-out twice during the rvd-carlito match
  • cena was SOOOOO over. actually, almose everybody was ver because this was the first time manila held a live WWE EVENT.
  • the crowd absolutely went nuts when flair made his way to the ring, hence having the biggest pop of the night IMO.
  • some signs i saw were "PWEDE?", "ARAY", and probably the fuinniest of them all, "TOMKO BADING! (is gay)" lol
  • you reall can here the "chops" wrestlers give to their opponents.
  • a lot of "I'm you Papi" shirts in the crows
  • chris masters' entrance is just so cool to watch.
  • flair is a true entertainer in the ring, especially when he led the mama's boy chant toward shelton.
  • so many observations, but i guess i have to limit what i can type here for my post not to get too looooooong... hehehe

ah...... every good thing must come to an end though, and i must say that i am very honored and privileged to have witnessed this historic event in philippine history! i do hope they'll come back here soon!

RAW ROCKS!!! 8 years of wait was worth it!

WWE RULES!!!
