update
POSTED AT 01:20 AM

aaaaaahhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!! what a helluva week! i haven't posted that much because i have been pretty busy with a lot of school stuff - mainly thesis and some reports... i'm just happy that it will soon come to an end, but for now i'm just enjoying this opportunity to rest and relx because me and my groupmtes have been working non-stop on our thesis these past 2 weeks. probably one of the most tiring weeks in my life.

well, besides that, nothing new happening really... just so tired... i think i'm gonna wake up at around late afternoon tomorro... hehehehe...

oh yeah.. exam week is next week (17-21). i juts hope i'll be able to do good in my exams...

it's been a while since the last time... about a month now, i think...

i could care less... *wink*

81
POSTED AT 12:12 AM

history has been made folks

and i am glad to have been part of it.

kobe bryant just scored an unimaginable, unfathomable 81 points in the lakers' come-from-behind 122-104 win over the toronto raptors. the lakers trailed by as much as 18 points in the third quarter, but that did not stop the team.

and kobe.

actually, i was only able to watch the beginning of the 4th quarter of the game (as i just woke up then). as i switched on the tv, i saw the lakers playing the raptors, and they were already in the 4th quarter. i thought to myself that "*sigh*... another close game... go lakers!". who knows? they might lose their 3rd in a row...

but that was not the case.

as kobe made a shot to increase their lead to 5, the commentator said that he had 57 points. i literally said "whoa! 57?!?!?". after a quick bathroom break, i watched the remainder of the game--and how kobe bryant scored in every way imaginable en route to his historic 81 points.

i was also shocked when the commentators said that the lakers were down by as much as 18 points in the third, so i said to myself "man, this is gonna be another one of them special games". i, too, was able to watch that december 20 game where kobe dropped 62 on dallas--after 3 quarters--as he outscored them after 3, 62-61. well, the game was in the freezer so he did not need to play in the 4th.

this, however, was different.

they were barely holding the lead in the 4th against the raptors, and with kobe having already scored 57, i though that he might just eclipse his career high 62.

well, he did. in INCREDIBLE FASHION.

today, i'm still dumbfounded that he (or any nba player this era) was able to score more than 70 points (well, let alone 80+!). i was just amazed of the feat kobe did.

MVP? you damn right!

after that disastrous season last year, he has come out with more fire and intensity than any other nba player out there (well, at least in my view). he already has a helluva lot of 40+ point games than i can remember him scoring in all of last season. i think he's even eclipsed that.

with that being said, and with kobe hjaving scored 81, the ultimate question remains...

"WILL ANYBODY SCORE 100? OR MAYBE EVEN _SURPASS_ IT???"

well, now i think it's reachable. and i strongly believe that kobe bryant is THE player who can do it.

==========

KOBE! KOBE! KOBE!

Currently feeling: shocked

the aftermath
POSTED AT 12:54 AM

well, thesis defense is over. i just hope we did good as it pertains to one of our panel members... the other two, we felt we did pretty well.

damn... really unexpected...

oh well, i just hope things will go our way...

and as to our grades, we were asked to make a minor revision in our program. we were to present it by feb. 4, so hopefully it'll be finished by that time.

MORAL LESSON: EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED.

now i can sleep for as long as i want... i only had about 4 hours of sleep last night...

Currently feeling: tired
